New Rules for Kochel am See: Mandatory Herzogstandbahn GmbH Service

In accordance with the revised regulations of the Kochel am See municipality, Herzogstandbahn GmbH will be obligated to provide services from October 15, 2021. These services will be available Monday through Friday, from 09:00 to 17:15.
Herzogstand: A Popular Destination
Standing at 1730 meters, the Herzogstand is renowned for its breathtaking views of the Walchensee and Karwendel mountains. The Herzogstandbahn, a 1388.35-meter-long cable car, was commissioned in 1994 to replace an earlier chairlift, enhancing accessibility to this remarkable natural wonder.
The Herzogstandbahn's convenient operating hours will allow visitors to experience the stunning vistas during daylight hours, making it an ideal destination for day trips and outdoor enthusiasts.
